We utilize a KM Labs Collegiate Ti:Sapphire Laser Kit and a Swamp Optics GRENOUILLE (Grating-Eliminated No-nonsense Observation of Ultrafast Incident Laser Light E-fields) to generate temporal pulses on the order of 10-14 seconds and study ultrafast phenomena. The laser can be mode-locked to emit ultrafast temporal pulses, which can be extracted utilizing a spectrometer or through intensity autocorrelation utilizing the GRENOUILLE. We find that different measures for pulse duration yield considerably different results when compared to theoretical values, and that varying certain parameters in the laser setup affect the temporal duration of the pulses.
