The Super Bowl concentrates sex trafficking in a major American city every year. With increased awareness about sex trafficking and its social implications, and the national attention of the Super Bowl, we recommend that the National Football League (NFL) takes measures to reduce sex trafficking at the Super Bowl LIV in Miami, FL. We propose three alternative actions, but the policy should reduce sex trafficking at the Super Bowl, be implementable in various cities, and ensure positive public optics for the NFL. Based on these three criteria, we suggest that the NFL develops and promotes an awareness campaign at the Super Bowl LIV in Miami in 2020.
