In the past few years Compound Interest infographics (see: https://www.compoundchem.com) have garnered significant attention as a way to communicate small, yet important information about chemical concepts to a general audience. Compound Interest infographics exist for just about every topic in chemistry except carbohydrates. The students in Chemistry 351: Carbohydrates in Materials and Medicine are hoping to change this. This poster provides a sampling of the glycoscience infographics they have created this spring, and include examples as diverse as the role of carbohydrates in cosmetic formulations to the roles carbohydrates play in microbial infectivity.
